Luick
Freedom for Children Charities, Inc. was established in
2003 by Steven Luick and his family to help children with
life issues. Mr. Luick and his wife Glenda relocated to
Mount Morris, New York, in 1999 from California to live
and run a bed and breakfast from their home. Their youngest
daughter Courtney, one of their six children, later joined
them.
Besides
the Allegiance Bed and Breakfast, Steven is a counselor
at Finger Lakes Addiction Counseling and Referral Agency
in the detoxification center. Glenda is Director of Human
Resources for Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical
Center in the Los Angeles area. Mr. Luick has been very
active in the community, once serving on the Board of Directors
of seven companies or organizations and the Development
Committees of two others.
The
Luick Freedom for Children Charities, Inc. was formed to
provide financial assistance to children who have otherwise
exhausted their financial resources. The funds are to be
used to establish and develop the children's goals in order
to improve their lives. Our intent is to give the children
choices that they may not otherwise have had. Thus, learning
to become a participant in life, when possible ... not just
an observer.
For
those children who do not have the capacity to participate
in this manner due to age, handicap, or any other restriction,
we will do everything we can within our scope and purpose
to help.
